“Racist banana” spoils Brazil’s celebration of scoring against Tunisia

Racism appears again in the stadiums of the world, this time in the friendly confrontation that brings together the Tunisian team and its Brazilian counterpart, this evening, Tuesday, in the French capital, Paris.

The Brazilian team showed a clear superiority over Tunisia during this friendly match, as he scored five goals through a double by Rafinha and a goal by Richarlison, Neymar from a penalty kick and another goal by Pedro Guillerme, compared to a goal for Tunisia by Muntasir Talbi for Tunisia.

The incident occurred during Richarlison’s celebration of his second goal against Tunisia, to be subjected to a racist attack from one of the fans present in the stadium.

The fan threw a banana at the Brazilian players who were celebrating the goal of the Tottenham striker against the opponent’s net.

According to information from “TV Globo” during the broadcast of the friendly match, there were many attempts to identify the fan responsible for the racist incident, without success in achieving this so far.

This controversial incident comes after the recent crisis with Vinicius Junior, the Real Madrid and Brazil winger, who was violently attacked because of his dances during the goal celebration

This prompted the Brazilian national team stars to enter the stadium before the match against Tunisia, carrying a banner that reads: “If it wasn’t for our black players, we wouldn’t have stars on our shirt.”

It is noteworthy that Brazil played against another African team during the current international break, as it defeated Ghana 3-0 on September 23, during its preparation for the World Cup, during which it faces another African team, Cameroon, along with Switzerland and Serbia
