After many press reports that dealt with the failure of the Liverpool team to provide its usual levels this season, some news claimed that the Reds’ management is considering getting rid of Jurgen Klopp in the coming days.
But Florian Plettenberg, a journalist for “Sky Sports”, tweeted about this crisis, and explained that the Liverpool administration does not intend to get rid of the German, but rather will support him in the upcoming winter transfer market.
“He (Jurgen Klopp) has been told he still has the full support of the owners. Klopp is also not considering resigning – that’s for sure,” the tweet read.
He continued: “Liverpool want to invest in the best transfers next summer – with Klopp. A midfielder is needed in the winter already!”
This news comes amid the failure of the German coach’s team to be in the first 4 positions of the English Premier League table, as it seems that Liverpool’s suffering this season will be forgotten and Klopp will continue to lead the technical management.
It is worth noting that the contract of Liverpool coach, Jurgen Klopp, will expire in the summer of 2026.
