A Spanish newspaper reported on Sunday that Pep Guardiola, the coach of Manchester City, has reached a secret agreement regarding his next destination, after leaving the Etihad Stadium.
Pep’s contract with City expires at the end of the current season, without reaching an agreement on renewal, but there are attempts by the Premier League champions to renew his contract for another season.
According to the Catalan newspaper “Sport”, Pep Guardiola has agreed with Ronaldo Nazario D’Alema, the Brazilian legend, to lead the Selecao in the future.
Guardiola had previously stated that he wanted to coach a national team and lead it during a major international tournament such as the World Cup or the Euro.
The report added that Ronaldo will try to bring Guardiola to Brazil in 2026, after the end of the World Cup.
The report indicated that Ronaldo promised the president of the Brazilian Football Confederation that he would convince Guardiola to take over the Selecao in the future.
